Hello,
this is certainly possible. Simply drag an image from your desktop into the Candli level editor, and a new object type with that image will be created. You can also drag and drop into the animation editor to add a new image to the animation.
Kind regards,
With an image containing a lot of text, the quality seems to suffer a bit. Is the resolution limited during import? (Additionally, it looked better when cropped than when unedited)
One of the example games has an explanation of the controls at the beginning, which does not appear when you copy the game. Was this text already created using the new function for the User Interface?
In the premium version, the original resolution is preserved up to a size of 2048x2048 pixels. In the free version, the image is limited to 256x256 pixels to reduce our server costs.
If you select the “Crop” option when importing an image, the resolution may be limited by your screen resolution. With the “Do not crop” option, the original resolution is preserved up to the limits described above.
how is it possible?
As explained above: simply drag an image from your desktop into the Candli level editor, and a new object type with that image will be created. You can also drag and drop into the animation editor to add a new image to the animation.
If anything in my explanation is unclear, could you please describe the part that is causing confusion?
Is importing also possible on the iPad?
Yes, simply open two applications in Split View mode (Mit mehreren Fenstern gleichzeitig auf dem iPad arbeiten - Apple Support (DE)) and then perform a normal drag & drop operation.
Thanks, works perfectly
